Sara Moss is co-founder and CEO of The Code Works, Inc, and a nationally recognized expert and author on staffing technology.

Sara is frequently asked to speak at staffing industry events, including the American Staffing Association Staffing World, HR-XML summits and software vendor user conferences. She also writes regularly for leading staffing journals on a broad range of topics, including front and back office vendors and trends, Vendor Management System (VMS) trends and strategies candidate and client web portals and search and match technology. Sara is currently working on a book on the human capital supply chain.

Sara has over a dozen years of consulting experience. While with Accenture, Sara consulted to major telecoms throughout Europe. Her projects focused on business transformation and business process improvement leveraging technology. Just before founding The Code Works, Sara was a managing director at a venture-funded custom software development firm, Lavastorm.

Sara holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Social Science.

Jonathan Novich is co-founder and COO of The Code Works, Inc., where he manages the delivery of the firm’s client services, from strategy and vendor selection to software integration and development.

Since the founding of The Code Works, Jonathan has helped a wide range of staffing firms synthesize business strategy and technology strategy while keeping the lower-level details in sight. At The Code Works, Jonathan's software development experiences include: custom candidate portal (supporting multiple lines of business), both keyword-based and conceptual resume search implementations, custom front office development, voice-over-IP integration, and extensive R&D, prototyping and proof-of-concept engagements using a variety of technologies. Jonathan has also engaged in strategic exercises which influence staffing and recruiting enterprise architectures including vendor selection efforts for front office, back office, document management, electronic forms and electronic time capture systems.

Prior to forming The Code Works, Jonathan worked as a Systems Architect at Lavastorm Engineering, where he spearheaded an effort to develop a system for a large staffing firm to integrate with vendor management systems.

Before Lavastorm, Jonathan served as a software engineer at Hewlett Packard, where he designed, developed, and tested state-of-the-art software to help build new microchips.

Jonathan graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor’s of Science of Engineering in Computer Science and a certificate in Engineering Management Systems.
